JUST IN: Crystal Palace are likely to land 21-years-old ace on free agent deal

ACE TOTTENHAM AND NEWCASTLE ARE IN ‘ADVANCED TALKS’ ABOUT A PL MOVE, SAYS AGENT.
Radu Dragusin, who is valued at £35 million, is in ‘advanced talks’ with Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Crystal Palace, among others.

That’s according to Florin Manea, the Genoa defender’s vocal agent.

Manea was the one who confirmed Radu Dragusin had received ‘written offers’ from Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, and Tottenham Hotspur in 2021.

While he was more hesitant to name the clubs in question this time, the Romanian did concede that conversations about a possible mega-money move to English football are ‘already’ starting.

Radu Dragusin might be re-signed by Tottenham or Newcastle.
“There are already advanced talks with several Premier League clubs,” Manea says to EuroSport. “Genoa is looking for between 35 and 40 million euros.”

“We’ll see what happens in the winter.” We may reach an agreement on a transfer (in January) but stay with Genoa until the summer,” Manea says. “After the 45 matches he started last year, Radu now needs to play match after match in Genoa, in Serie A.”

Manea insists in further statements obtained by Sport Italia that, while conversations are ongoing, none

‘I have London offices.’
“It’s just a casual conversation.” “It’s natural that many clubs are interested in him because he’s a young player, born in 2002, who plays in Serie A and does very well,” the agent continues.

“Then I have offices in London, where I know everyone.” We’ll all be thrilled if Genoa gets the money they want for him.”

Manea’s contacts in London could signal that Tottenham Hotspur and/or Crystal Palace are back in the running. Spurs are likely to prioritize a new center-half in 2024; Eric Dier is not a long-term plan for Ange Postecoglou.

Don’t be shocked if Newcastle renews their interest in the 21-year-old Bucharest native. Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle United, is looking for another right-sided defender, and Dragusin fits the description.
