SKYSPORT: Sunderland key star found outstanding and deserves the award

Trai Hume, a 21-year-old star for Sunderland, won Player of the Match honors on Tuesday night while playing for Northern Ireland versus Slovenia while on international duty.

Last night at Windsor Park, Slovenia defeated Northern Ireland 1-0 despite the fact that they were reduced to 10 men in the 58th minute.
Shea Charles’ second yellow was the final straw for Northern Ireland, although he will feel foolish for getting his first yellow.

Initially penalized for dissent for objecting to the free kick that Slovenia used to win the game.

Nevertheless, a Black Cat who was particularly excellent was in action, despite the defeat.

Trai Hume wins man of the match

According to the official Sunderland website, Trai Hume received the man of the match award during the game.

Despite the Green and White army’s defeat, Hume was superb.

According to SofaScore, Hume won seven duels in the match and proved to be a tough opponent for the Slovenian left winger.

He was outstanding on defense, winning six tackles and making a clearance.

He also had 61 touches when carrying the ball and completed 83% of his passes.

The show demonstrates on a global platform how great Hume has been all season in red and white.

The performance will give Tony Mowbray hope going into a crucial month for the Championship.

On Saturday, Sunderland takes on Stoke with the possibility of passing Preston North End and moving up to third with a victory.

Dan Ballard, a Hume teammate on the international and club levels, was absent from the game and will have to hurry to be ready for the game on Saturday.
