Boston Celtics receive the ideal team boost, with one exception

Three veteran free agents fill the biggest roster gaps for the Boston Celtics.

The Boston Celtics are preparing for a run at the NBA Championship as the season draws near. However, the Cs lack three key components: a facilitator, an additional shooter, and a big to provide bulk.

There is time to deal with them before the regular season. And fortunately, there are a few free agents who have been waiting around who can step in right away and improve the locker room.

Here are three seasoned free agents who fill the greatest roster gaps for the Boston Celtics.

For playmaking: Goran Dragic

It makes perfect sense for the Boston Celtics to sign Goran Dragic because they require more playmaking assistance. Last year, the Cs were vying for his services, and although they were unsuccessful in March, they now have a chance to hand him the keys to the second unit.

This veteran may provide a fantastic spark on nights when many rotation regulars are absent because of his career 38% three-point shooting rate. In the NBA, Hill has demonstrated his ability to shoot and execute in the biggest games. The Boston Celtics shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a guy with experience in tough situations to whom you can feed the ball and shoot the three in crucial moments.

For size: Nerlens Noel

The Boston Celtics are among the favorites to win it all as the season draws to a close. The greatest moment to fill in the last few holes is right now, thus
