BREAKING NEWS: Roosters shocked by favorite star’s response to contract extension

Chooks sign long-term deals with their forward pairing.

Naufahu Whyte and Nat Butcher won’t be leaving.
In a move to prevent Nat Butcher and Naufahu Whyte from entering the open market after November 1, the Sydney Roosters have signed both players to long-term contracts.

The two are expected to remain with the tri-colors for the ensuing three years, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Butcher has established a solid reputation for himself within the Roosters team with 126 games played and a Prime Minister’s XIII cap.

While Whyte’s 2023 efforts have impressed the club enough to earn him an extension and a call-up to the Kiwis team, Butcher has established himself as a mainstay in the Roosters setup.

The forward, who was born in Auckland, had nine appearances for the Chooks this season, averaging 90 running meters each game.

After signing a two-year top 30 contract, winger Junior Pauga joined Whyte as another young player whose efforts have been recognized.
