Broncos hit man blast with threat after a huge win from rivals

After the Denver Broncos humiliation, a Green Bay Packers legend delivers a brutally harsh reality check to the team.

After witnessing their club suffer a terrible 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday night, Green Bay Packers supporters can’t be happy right now. Packers legend Mark Tauscher, like the majority of fans, was quite optimistic going into Sunday’s game as the club sought to recover from its bye week.

Tauscher, however, was compelled by this defeat to accept the hard reality of Green Bay’s current situation.

Tauscher, who was instrumental in the Packers’ 2011 Super Bowl victory, was forthright in his post-game remarks following yet another heartbreaking defeat for his cherished squad. The 46-year-old claims that it is now time to acknowledge the obvious fact that the Packers are not among the best teams this year:

Tauscher said, “I’m going to start with a question today,” during the Green Bay GameNight segment on ESPN (h/t Arthur Weinstein of The Comeback). “Aside from the Carolina Panthers, which NFL team is now the worst?

Let me phrase it like this. It’s difficult to state with certainty that it’s not the Green Bay Packers. The notion that Green Bay is included in that group with the Detroit Lions or the Dallas Cowboys, which perhaps we

Fans had a lot of hope because of Green Bay’s very respectable start to the season, and Tauscher probably felt the same way. But recently, things haven’t been great at all, which has brought the supporters back to reality.

Time to Face the Music

Tauscher was still working. The Packers Hall of Famer is willing to concede that Green Bay is toward the bottom of the barrel even though he did say that they aren’t the worst club in the NFL right now:

As of right moment, according to Tauscher, this NFL football squad is in the worst half of the league. “Those are the facts; I didn’t want to admit them at this time.

You just lost and just managed to score 17 points against one of the worst NFL defenses we’ve ever seen through five or six weeks. When playing against our offensive in that first half, (Denver) resembled the (Chicago) Bears of 1985.

“As Packers supporters, we just have to accept this. The year will be very long.

This is the sobering fact that Packers supporters currently have to face, as Tauscher stated. They will be able to see the bright side of everything more quickly if they can accept that they won’t be competitive this year (and possibly beyond) and that they are in the midst of a rebuilding era.

Whatever the circumstances, Cheeseheads are in for a long season.
