It is reported that Marcos Acuna is looking for “a change of scenery,” and that Aston Villa is planning a January transfer.

With less than 18 months remaining on his current contract, Acuna’s departure from Sevilla during the January transfer window is reportedly acceptable to the La Liga team.

Villa has long been interested in the Argentine; last summer, the club was linked to a move. Villa is still linked to the player, although a transfer never happened.

Furthermore, it has been reported by Fichajes.net that Acuna is willing to leave the Spanish club. It is rumored that Villa must pay €15 million in order to complete a deal for the defender.

In order to bolster their roster and replace a player whose departure will “significantly weaken” them, Sevilla “understands” that their left-back may be on the move shortly and is “hoping to earn” as much money as possible from a potential sale.

At left defender, Villa currently has Alex Moreno and Lucas Digne in their lineup. But the latter suffered a permanent harm.
