“He is not worth the price” Atalanta star mocked

In the future, Rasmus Hojlund “could be fantastic,” considers Michael Owen

Michael Owen thinks Rasmus Hojlund has the potential to develop into a “fantastic player” and that the high price Manchester United paid for him is indicative of the dearth of established goal scorers on the transfer market.

Some were surprised by Hojlund’s initial £64 million transfer from Atalanta to Old Trafford considering his goal-scoring history.

Hojlund, who is still only 20 years old and has lots of time to grow, scored 10 goals in 34 games during his brief stay with the Italian team Atalanta.

Prior to that, he scored 12 in 21 for Austrian team Sturm Graz and 5 in 32 for Copenhagen. Good, if not spectacular, numbers.

Even so, the Red Devils were pleased with what they witnessed. Hojlund has yet to score a goal while wearing a United shirt, but he certainly has a bright future ahead of him.

Despite scoring three goals in three Champions League games, the Danish international has not scored in seven Premier League outings.

According to Owen, the high asking price is understandable considering Hojlund’s ability to develop into a fantastic goal scorer and the dearth of players who now fit that description.

According to Owen, “scoring goals is the hardest thing to do in football and it’s a position that every team wants and needs.” Owen made this statement to AceOdds.com.

And it’s clear that Manchester United has done their study. He does seem like a player who has the potential to be very good in the future. However, you typically think of investing that much money on a player who will ensure you score 30 goals per season.

Sure, they must spend astronomical amounts on a child, but they haven’t spent hundreds of millions. hence it’s just
