Among those present were Giorgio Furlani, Geoffrey Moncada, and Antonio D’Ottavio. Furlani congratulated the former striker for AC Milan’s 100 matches on behalf of the club and, more importantly, on behalf of all AC Milan supporters.

“Thanks to everyone, thanks to the club, thanks to the coach, thanks to you guys, I am very proud of this and also very grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy it even at 37 years old,” Giroud said after receiving congratulations from his teammates. Giroud has always been very vocal about how proud he is to play for Milan and how much love he has for the club. I used to be a huge Milan fan. I’m really proud of all these amazing players who were Milan’s players.

Giroud’s red card against Lecce resulted in his suspension for the most recent Serie A match against Fiorentina, but he will play again tonight against Borussia Dortmund within the Champions League.
