GOOD NEWS:BLUES AND THE MAGPIES OWNERS AN INTERESTING TALE DEAL

Think back to the first several years of the post-Mike Ashley period.

The owners of Newcastle United and those supporting them were obviously a group of inexperienced individuals who had no idea how to even go about hiring a new manager.

These individuals need to have shown greater deference to Unai Emery, a top-tier manager, in their attitude. Seems sense that their quest was unsuccessful.

Before the transfer market starts, the Newcastle United owners will require expert assistance.

That was basically the line that the London-focused British media was trotting out.

Consider what might happen if.

After dismissing their manager, the new Newcastle United owners spent hundreds of millions on transfers, fired another manager, fired the interim manager, and then hired one of their former managers—who had recently been fired by the team that was second bottom in the Premier League—to steady the ship.

Imagine that after attempting to buy their way back to prosperity, they were left without a European football team and just avoided relegation.

To top it all off, suppose they hadn’t arranged a replacement before letting their shirt sponsorship agreement expire. To make matters worse, the club shop wouldn’t carry the new home shirt until after the season had begun.

It would be very appropriate for us to be ridiculed by the Premier League.

Nevertheless, Chelsea has experienced all of these things!

All of those things, aside from being publicly made fun of and mocked in the media.

In all honesty, I don’t really give a damn about what these sloppy so-called sports hacks write

or state, since I’d prefer to be the stranger than the privileged buddy.

It’s been more of a dizzying season-long helter-skelter ride since firing their Champions League-winning manager, but despite appearing as like it may spiral out of control, Chelsea managed to finish in 12th place.

An excellent foundation for Poch to expand upon then.

But at least he acknowledges that “for the past ten years, Chelsea has been the best team in England.”

The blue side of Manchester may disagree, in my opinion, over who has been the best recently, but it’s nice that he understands that it’s all in the past.

The Chelsea players appear properly awkward and ashamed in their sponsor-less tops when viewed in press pictures.

Hopefully, their on-field performance will reflect this.

In addition, let’s hope that Uncle Todd Boehly—Behdad Eghbali, another Chelsea co-owner who is shown above with Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi—continues to put in a masterful performance in the hiring and selection process so that perhaps the big seven can revert to being the big six!
