Eddie Howe Give Stronger Reaction ‘sufferable’ Over professional Goalkeeper Ahead Of Everton Clash

During Newcastle United’s 3-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park, Jordan Pickford tried his hardest to inflame the opposition.

Jordan Pickford, a Sunderland supporter, stole the show on Thursday night as Newcastle United lost 3-0 at Everton.

The Toffees defeated the Magpies for the fifth time this season with goals from Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and substitute Beto in the final 20 minutes, lifting them out of the Premier League relegation zone and matching the amount of games they lost in the entire previous campaign.

Pickford, a former Black Cats goalkeeper, seized the chance to infuriate both the visiting Geordies and the players because of their long-standing relationship.
When Everton scored, the 29-year-old was seen waving at the Magpies’ supporters. At the end of the game, he was in the middle of a brawl between the opposing teams.

It all began when Bruno Guimaraes shoved the England player and confronted him by pointing a finger at him. Eventually, Fabian Schar became involved and needed to be guided down the tunnel.

As he made his way back to the dressing room, Pickford did indeed seem to mock the reunion, clinching his fists in front of the home crowd.

While many Newcastle supporters expressed their disapproval of Pickford’s actions, many others could relate to his response.

Jordan Pickford has confirmed he has no plans to leave Everton this summer | - Sports Central : Where stories are told in colour“Any #NUFC fan foaming about Jordan Pickford should get over themselves,” one fan said. You offer it. You accept it. He accepted it. He gave it last night.

Someone another said: “I’ve got no problem whatsoever with Pickford giving it at the end – he takes enough stick from us so you’ve got to accept him giving it back when he’s on the good end.”

When Pickford and Everton play their rematch at St James’ Park in April, there will definitely be no love lost. In the first Tyne-Wear derby in eight years, Newcastle’s match against Sunderland in the FA Cup third round next month will be something he’ll be closely observing.
