The Atlanta Braves are prominently featured in this year’s All-MLB Team, with Ronald Acuña Jr., Austin Riley, and Spencer Strider securing First Team selections at their respective positions. Matt Olson and Ozzie Albies earned spots on the Second Team.

The announcement, revealed during MLB Network’s All-MLB Team Show presented by MGM Rewards, underscores the Braves’ success, having achieved an MLB-best 104 wins.

The selection process incorporated fan voting, contributing 50%, and input from a distinguished panel comprising media representatives, broadcasters, former players, and other baseball officials. The criteria for votes were centered on regular-season performances.

Ronald Acuña Jr. distinguished himself with an extraordinary season, becoming the first player to achieve both 40-plus home runs and 70-plus stolen bases in a single season.

His outstanding performance earned him his first NL MVP Award, characterized by a .337 batting average, 41 home runs, 217 hits, 80 extra-base hits, 106 RBIs, 149 runs, a 1.012 OPS, and 84 strikeouts. Acuña’s accomplishments place him in elite company alongside legends such as Lou Gehrig, Chuck Klein, and Joe DiMaggio.

Joining Acuña on the First Team outfield were Mookie Betts and Corbin Carroll, while Second Team outfielders included Aaron Judge, Adolis García, and Kyle Tucker.

This marked Acuña’s inaugural First Team selection, having previously been a Second Team pick in 2019 and 2020.

Austin Riley, leading all MLB third basemen with a 5.2 fWAR, secured his place as the First Team third baseman for the second consecutive year.

He notched his third consecutive 30-homer season with a .281 batting average, 37 homers, and an .861 OPS. José Ramírez was elected Second Team third baseman.

Pitcher Spencer Strider, the Majors’ sole 20-game winner in the season, achieved a franchise-record 281 strikeouts, ranking him fourth all-time in strikeout rate among pitchers with at least 180 innings in a season.

The other First Team pitchers included Gerrit Cole, Zac Gallen, Blake Snell, and Shohei Ohtani.

Matt Olson, leading the Majors with 54 homers and 139 RBIs, earned Second Team honors, while Freddie Freeman was elected First Team first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Braves’ representation on the All-MLB Team underscores their exceptional performance throughout the season.
