Malcolm Thompson, a defensive back for the National team, has extended his contract with the Calgary Stampeders, guaranteeing his place before he became a free agent in February. Thompson became a Stampeder on September 16 and has been a regular on the field. He recorded one defensive tackle and one special teams stop in four games during the regular season.
Thompson participated in the team’s 2021 training camp, therefore his relationship with the Stampeders goes beyond the 2022 campaign.
