Nottingham Forest injury boost as star player footage emerges

Current injury updates for Nottingham Forest as Taiwo Awoniyi returns to the field after surgery on his groin.

Following groin surgery, injured Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi was seen jogging on camera.

The striker had surgery after suffering an injury while serving abroad. Even though head coach Steve Cooper has stated that “we will definitely see him again this season,” he is anticipated to be sidelined for several months.

Cooper stated in a statement last month: “Taiwo has bad news; he had surgery and will be out for months.” It’s incredibly terrible and a setback for him, but we will support him and work to bring him back as quickly and healthy as possible.

Awoniyi resumes Nottingham Forest training

Due to the goals he has scored, he has grown to be a vital member of our team. It is difficult on him to sustain an injury of this nature because he is a decent professional and a nice guy who is driven to succeed. We must assist him as he works to recover and become stronger.”

Even though it’s early in the healing process, a recent video of Awoniyi running on the grass at Forest’s training site suggests things are going quite well.

The video was shared on Instagram by News Agency of Nigeria journalist Olayinka Owolewa. It depicts Awoniyi by himself, briskly walking around Wilford Lane’s pitch’s edge.
