The report suggests that AC Milan might face financial challenges in competing with Newcastle United if the latter pursues the signing of Jonathan David. The Canadian forward, who has scored an impressive 52 goals in the past two and a half seasons in France, has a connection with Sven Botman from their time together at Lille. Additionally, Newcastle scouts have reportedly observed David in the past, making him a player of interest for the Premier League club.

According to The Sun, Newcastle United scouts have reportedly been present in the stands to observe Amar Dedic, the Bosnian full-back, during Salzburg’s last three Champions League games. The scouts have also attended some of his recent international appearances. The 21-year-old, who is highly rated, has drawn interest from several other top clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Barcelona. Dedic is known for his versatility, as he can operate in various positions across the back four, with a primary focus on playing at full-back.
