Williams’ deep threat talents, along with his speed and ability to spread the field, allow the club to put Tampa Bay’s secondary to the test.
If he can repeat his performance from the first time these teams met, he will bring another important vertical aspect to the attack.
Will the Lions’ coordinators be distracted following interviews?
On Saturday, Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson will be interviewed by several NFL clubs looking for a new head coach.
The two coaches have garnered attention from ten different teams. Six clubs have sought interviews with Johnson, while four have expressed interest in Glenn.
The pair has been charged with conducting these interviews while also carrying out their usual game-planning duties. Dan Campbell outlined why he is optimistic that both will maintain their focus for Sunday’s game.
“Well, we’ll find out because it starts today. “I know this about both of them: they are completely team-oriented,” Campbell remarked.
“They are all about the team, the strategy, the players in that room, and the other coaches surrounding them, and that is where it all begins for them.
They both recognize they have a chance and will grab it, but they also know, “Hey, if anything, you’re going to find out who I am.”
