JUST IN: Texans super Star Explain Why, He Joined Houston Texans Over Lions

Tyrell Adams Expresses Passion for Staying with Houston Texans Over a New Signing Opportunity, Unleashing His Feelings with Bitterness and Aggression.

In a noteworthy development, the B.C. Lions have successfully added seasoned NFL linebacker Tyrell Adams to their training camp roster.

A 31-year-old veteran of 44 NFL games, Adams has accumulated significant experience, making 14 starts at linebacker, primarily with the Houston Texans.

Throughout his career, he has showcased his prowess with 163 total tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and four forced fumbles.

Adams’ journey in the NFL began when he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks after the 2015 NFL Draft.

His early years saw him navigating between the Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice roster as a rookie.

Subsequently, he joined the Oakland Raiders, marking his initial foray into regular-season action, playing in 12 games over two years.

However, subsequent stints with the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts proved less successful.

The turning point in Adams’ career occurred when he joined the Houston Texans late in the 2018 season.

Despite a brief departure and stints with other teams, he returned to Houston for the most fruitful phase of his career, amassing a total of 25 games played and all 14 of his career starts.

The culmination of his NFL journey saw him conclude the 2021 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars before wrapping up his tenure on the Colts’ practice squad.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Adams ventured into the XFL in 2023 as a member of the Seattle Sea Dragons, contributing significantly with 25 credited tackles in five games between the regular season and playoffs.

Before his professional career took off, Adams honed his skills during his four-year stint at the University of West Georgia, where he earned two-time first-team All-Gulf South Conference honors and Division II All-American recognition.

In addition to Adams, the Lions have also secured the services of American defensive back Justin Ford, standing at six-foot-two and weighing 200 pounds.

Ford, a two-time unanimous FCS All-American selection, and first-team All-Big Sky honoree from the University of Montana, brings his remarkable college career stats of 84 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 11 interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, 28 pass breakups, and three fumble recoveries to the Lions.

Ford’s journey post-college involved going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft and not securing an undrafted free agent contract after mini-camp tryouts with the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings.

He later agreed to terms with the USFL’s Houston Gamblers, though his stint there was cut short when the league folded into the XFL.
