Just In: San Francisco 49ers Name Another Superstar Who Want To Leave

According to reports, the 49ers have decided what will happen to Brandon Aiyuk.

Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was instrumental in the San Francisco 49ers’ run to Super Bowl LVIII during the 2023 NFL season.

But shortly after the 49ers’ Super Bowl defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, whispers started to circulate that Aiyuk might like to leave San Francisco this summer.

As of Sunday, Aiyuk remained a member of the 49ers, and according to Dov Kleiman, the organization seemed to be anticipating him to be on the roster into 2024 and beyond.

According to the source, San Francisco will prioritize reaching a contract extension with the gifted wide receiver following the draft.

Trade packages the Pittsburgh Steelers could offer the 49ers for Brandon Aiyuk

Although there’s still a chance that things might change, particularly if San Francisco and the wide receiver can’t come to an agreement on a contract before the 2024 season begins, it appears likely that he will play for the team in the next season.

Aiyuk ended with 75 receptions for a career-high 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 games with the 49ers in 2023.

He has caught 15 touchdown passes in his last two seasons with San Francisco, which ties him for sixth most in the NFL since 2022.

Finding a means to retain Aiyuk on the 49ers has always been in their best interest, and it now appears like it has a strong possibility of really occurring.
