Journalist Report: Buccaneers Sensational Top Player, Explain Why Choose Dolphins Over Jaguars Signing

On March 24, 2024, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars regular season game, offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs of the Bucs blocks a pass.

The majority of US states are fortunate to have one NFL team. The two lucky states of Florida and California each have three teams.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have suggested holding combined practices with the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars in order to make the most of their proximity to their opponents during the preseason.

Before playing at Raymond James Stadium, the Buccaneers will welcome the Dolphins for joint practices, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports, who covers the NFC South.

The team lead by Todd Bowles would next make the trip to Jacksonville for combined practices before playing their second preseason game against the Jaguars. The league has not yet approved the plan.

When the Bucs hosted the Dolphins for their third and final preseason game before the regular season, in 2023, it was their last preseason matchup with a Florida team.

Skyler Thompson, the backup quarterback at the time, completed 20 of 28 passes for 218 yards and a score, helping Miami to win 26–24. The Buccaneers won a preseason game in Miami three years ago, defeating their opponents 16–14.

The Buccaneers and Jaguars were scheduled to play in late August of 2020; however, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the game. Two years prior, the Jaguars had beaten Tampa Bay 25-10 in their preseason meeting between the two teams.

Preseason games are essentially meaningless, especially with famous players sitting out the season to avoid injuries. When all participants compete at a high level, combined practices are seen to offer additional benefit.
