Over the past several seasons, Xavien Howard has been an integral member of the Miami Dolphins’ secondary.
Miami’s defense included standout players in Howard and Jalen Ramsey throughout the team’s remarkable comeback campaign.
Unfortunately, Howard’s ankle issue played a factor in the Dolphins’ decision to cut ties with him earlier this offseason. Howard’s health seems to be improving, and there’s a chance he’ll be able to visit the field in 2024.
NFL source Tom Pelissero reports that early this month, four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Xavien Howard received full clearance to resume football workouts. Teams were notified by his doctor via letter.
Howard struggled with a foot issue all season long in 2023. He is now a free agent and might offer a club in need of cornerbacks some post-draft assistance.
