Wade Miley, a left-handed pitcher, has been put on the 15-day disabled list by the Milwaukee Brewers due to elbow inflammation, effective from April 19, the team stated on Monday afternoon.

Tobias Myers, a right-hand pitcher, was recalled by Milwaukee from Triple-A Nashville to complete their main level roster in the interim.

Additionally, Andruw Monasterio, an infielder, was optioned to Triple-A Nashville when first baseman Jake Bauers was reinstated from the bereavement list.

In 3.0 innings pitched against the San Diego Padres on April 16, Miley gave up three earned runs, two walks, and four hits.

With a left shoulder impingement that kept him out of action for the opening two weeks of the regular season, Miley had only made two starts this year.
