The Cleveland Cavaliers, led by Donovan Mitchell, will travel to Boston on Tuesday night to play Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Cavaliers defeated the Orlando Magic in Round 1 to get here, and Mitchell and his colleagues had to overcome Jarrett Allen’s injury for the final four games of the series in order to win.
Since approximately halfway through the Orlando game, Allen has been suffering with a rib issue, which has some wondering if he will be available for Tuesday night’s Game 1 against the Celtics.
Following the release of the official NBA injury report, Allen’s status for the game was rated as doubtful due to a right rib contusion.
If the priceless center stays healthy, Cleveland may be able to pull off an unbelievable shock. The TD Garden opening tip-off is quickly approaching, and fans are eager to know if Jarrett Allen will be wearing a jersey.
