Red Wing Latest News: Red Wing Confirm Fresh Injury Update of top Experienced Player

Trey Augustine, a Michigan State prospect, was named the Red Wings’ replacement for Lyon. Augustine won the game with 11 saves out of 12 shots, while Lyon saved all 14 that he faced.

Ly0n participated in a team-high 44 games for the Red Wings past season, when he began as the team’s third goalkeeper. Having started in Team USA’s opening defeat to Sweden, he has so far in the tournament stopped 47 out of 50 shots that have come his him.

The Americans’ scorers were Kesselring, Tkachuk, Trevor Zegras, Luke Hughes, Johnny Gaudreau, and Michael Eyssimont.

Moritz Seiter, a defenceman with the Red Wings, was not on Team Germany.
