Former San Francisco 49ers pass rusher claimed by the Green Bay Packers
One of the San Francisco 49ers’ NFC Champions from the previous season was added to the Green Bay Packers roster.
The Packers declared on Thursday afternoon that they would be cutting a defensive lineman to accommodate the claim.
De’Vondre Campbell was added by the San Francisco 49ers.
Recently, the 49ers and Packers have switched defensive players. In the summer, the 49ers signed former Packers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell to a one-year contract, while they await the recovery of Dre Greenlaw, who injured his Achilles during the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.
DL Rodney Mathews has been released by the Green Bay Packers. Brian Gutekunst, general manager, disclosed the deal on Thursday.
