The Tennessee Titans had a strong offseason that significantly increased their prospects, even if they aren’t being discussed much as potential contenders for the 2024 NFL season.
It was a dismal season for the Titans the previous one. Still, they found much in rookie quarterback Will Levis to be enthusiastic about. They don’t appear to be a strong competitor this season, but they do have some excellent potential building stones.
Following the unveiling of the 2024 NFL schedule, players and fans have been debating the league’s setup. A prominent player for the Titans is not pleased with the league for how the team’s season was arranged.
The standout defensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans, Jeffery Simmons, made a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. He expressed severe dissatisfaction and disapproval with the team’s 2024 timetable.
Simmons has every right to be furious about the things that are bothering him. A relatively early bye in Week 5 prepares the squad for a demanding stretch run.
The Titans will play 13 straight weeks throughout the remaining regular season weeks as a result of that bye.
Regarding the single prime-time match, the NFL is not to fault for it. The Tennessee Titans don’t have any well-known players or popular fans. They didn’t seem like a contender either, and they weren’t one during the previous season.
According to Bleacher Report, the Titans’ season record will be 5–12. Other sources put their chances of winning between five and eight games. The NFL will not be compelled to schedule prime-time games based only on those predicted victory totals.
Having said that, the Titans have cause for hope going forward. In addition to adding standout cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the roster in the summer, Levis is anticipated to make yet another significant advancement in his career. The front office is taking the necessary actions to reposition the team for success.
