ESPN Latest News: NBA Make “surprising considering” Of Top Star Player After His….

James is expected to be selected late in the second round of the 2024 NBA Combine mock draft by the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers’ primary rival, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo.

Woo and Givony report that James will be selected by the Celtics with the 54th overall pick.

The 2024 NBA Draft class has significantly less skill than the group from the previous year. But the big name that has everyone intrigued is Bronny James, the Los Angeles Lakers’ son of LeBron James.

Tied for the most bets for No. 1 overall pick in NBA Draft is ... Bronny James? - Yahoo Sports

Naturally, the subject of discussion in the upcoming weeks will be where Bronny ends up in the draft.

Even so, is he drafted? The most recent ESPN mock draft by Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo predicts that the Boston Celtics will choose Bronny James with selection No. 54 overall.

Another interesting turn to this tale is that Bronny is made fun of by the Celtics one pick prior to the Lakers’ second-round selection, shattering any hopes of Bronny and LeBron James teaming up in purple and gold.

But after a miserable first year at USC, Bronny would be grateful to hear his name mentioned at all in the selection process.

He only averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while serving as a reserve for the Trojans.

He suffered a heart attack during the summer, but he made a full recovery and was back to his normal activities.

Bronny’s name is starting to make waves in the draft circles, despite his lackluster performance in his lone collegiate season. Bronny technically still has the option to decide without going back to college.

Bronny went to the draft and entered the portal after Andy Enfield left USC to attend SMU, although it seems improbable considering the draft hoopla around him.

Bronny was predicted to place among the winners of the NBA Combine following his impressive workouts and scrimmages, which probably helped increase his draft status significantly after it was speculated he would not be selected.

In his first comprehensive mock draft, NBA expert Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints projected Bronny to go to the Lakers at No. 55, thus the mid-50s appear to be a widely accepted early landing location.

According to Siegel, Bronny is expected to remain in the draft: “The crucial question in this situation is whether Bronny drops out of the draft or stays in it, as he will undoubtedly need to improve his offensive skills before he is prepared for meaningful NBA play. Bronny is anticipated to stay in the NBA Draft in 2024.

Given how he performed in his lone collegiate season at USC, Bronny James’s hype is a little unexpected, but then again, he is LeBron James’ son.

Bronny is a fascinating pick in the late round of the NBA Draft as he has demonstrated excellent defensive potential and shooting skills.

It will be a month before we learn out where or whether Bronny James ends up hearing his name called in the 2024 NBA Draft, which takes place on June 27 and 28.
