The Brian Battie Life Is At Risk And Need Serious Prayer For His Survival.

After a shooting in Sarasota on Saturday that tragically claimed the life of his brother, an Auburn University football player is struggling for his life.

After the fatal shooting early on Saturday morning, Auburn running back Brian Battie is still listed as critically ill on ESPN.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, when deputies arrived at the scene at roughly 3:30 in the morning, they saw sizable groups surrounding many victims of gunfire in a parking lot.

At the scene, Tommie L. Battie, IV, 24, was discovered deceased. His brother Brian was among the four casualties who were sent to nearby hospitals in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Hugh Freeze, the head coach of the Auburn Tigers football team, requested supporters to pray for Battie.

Battie attended South Florida to begin his career before moving to Auburn. He led the Tigers in kick returns and ran for 227 yards as a running back in the previous campaign.
