With a major injury update and other players hours ago, Austin Riley was in Atlanta.
Riley is not the only Braves player that is currently out. Travis d’Arnaud is also out for the squad due to a head injury.
Due to dizziness, the catcher departed Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres. If necessary, the team suggested he may go on Saturday.
According to The Athletic, the Braves’ management claims they don’t want to utilize him for at least two days.
There’s some unclear news regarding one of the players for the Atlanta Braves. According to The Athletic, Austin Riley of the Braves is unsure of when he will be allowed to play for the organization once more.
Riley’s left side rib ailment is being treated, which prevents him from being able to bat.
Riley’s absence has forced the Braves to rotate their infield lineup for the past several games. Due to discomfort, the third baseman departed Sunday’s game and hasn’t been in the starting lineup since.

Braves first baseman Matt Olson stated, “I saw him for 30 seconds there after the game and he seemed fine.
He definitely wasn’t as much in a daze as he was [when he suffered a concussion] last year.” Therefore, hopefully that’s good and nothing too bad.
