According to the official release, beloved former linebacker D’Qwell Jackson, who played with the Browns from 2006 to 2013, has been hired full-time by the franchise.

Analyst Zac Jackson shared on Twitter that D’Qwell Jackson has been appointed as a pro scout for the Browns after spending the past year in various roles within the organization.

The Browns confirmed Jackson’s new role, noting his frequent presence with the team over the last year, including his attendance at the 2023 NFL Combine and during OTAs.

Jackson joins a group of six individuals who will now serve as scouts or assistant scouts for the Browns. Since retiring in 2016, Jackson has remained actively involved in football through various roles.

His new full-time position with the Browns signifies a significant development in his post-playing career and aligns with the team’s efforts to bolster their staff amid ongoing internal issues.
