Auburn Tigers Update News: Just In Another Top Experienced Player, To Leave For 4 Star Players

Auburn Tigers Secure Commitment from 4-Star Offensive Tackle Broderick Shull and Confirm Another Player’s Departure.

Broderick Shull knew Auburn was the right fit for him after his official visit last weekend.

The 4-star offensive tackle from Bixby, Oklahoma, announced his commitment to Auburn on social media on Friday afternoon. Shull chose Auburn over Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. He had already visited Nebraska but decided to end his recruitment process before visiting Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, Shull is highly ranked in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He is listed as the No. 192 player overall, the No. 20 offensive tackle, and the No. 6 player from Oklahoma.

According to 247Sports, Shull is the No. 30 offensive tackle and the No. 9 player from Oklahoma. Auburn offensive line coach Jake Thornton considered Shull a top-priority recruit.

“This visit was exactly what I needed to make my decision much easier,” Shull said after his official visit last weekend.

“Experiencing the campus vibe was crucial. Seeing everyone again was great, but the most important part was meeting the players off campus. It gave me a sense of whether I would fit in, and these guys are responsible, mature, and they fit me well.”

With Shull’s commitment, Auburn now has five offensive line commitments for the 2025 recruiting cycle. Shull joins Top247 offensive tackles Tavaris Dice and Carde Smith, 3-star offensive tackle Spencer Dowland, and 3-star interior offensive lineman Tai Buster.
