Pass rusher Chase Young of the New Orleans Saints is seen as a “make or break” prospect for the 2024 campaign.
The prospect of bolstering their defensive line with pass rusher Chase Young has thrilled New Orleans Saints supporters. In theory, it was a wise choice at a reasonable cost for a single season. It should come as no surprise that the transfer could not work out as well, given that he is on an incentive-driven contract.
Young and the Saints’ future is uncertain at this point. Right now, there’s a good chance he and some other strong talent can put pressure on the Saints defensive line.

In one way or another, Nick Shook of NFL thinks that Young can affect the game for the Saints.
His reasoning is really logical. In 2023, the Saints performed a poor job at rushing the quarterback. If it occurs once more in 2024, personnel and players will have to make difficult choices.
Regarding Young, he will most likely be positioned opposite Carl Granderson, beside Cameron Jordan. At this stage of their careers, Granderson is the best EDGE of the three.
He just needs to continue being well. He underwent neck surgery and is presently recovering, but he should be prepared for the preseason. Young has dedicated himself to his rehabilitation, putting in long hours each day in the building.
