Braves Latest Injury News: Braves Confirm Another Injury Of Top Super Star Due To….

The Atlanta Braves have lost outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. to an ACL tear for the second time in four seasons. The Braves buckled down during the MLB trade deadline in 2021 and made a few key trades that helped them win the World Series. That was the first time it had happened. It seems like they plan to do the same thing this year.

In the first case, Atlanta was able to acquire four outfielders: Adam Duvall, Eddie Rosario, Jorge Soler, and Joc Pederson. According to Jim Bowden of The Athletic, the Braves could try to acquire one or two outfielders within the next month and a half in addition to perhaps trying to trade for a starting pitcher who is near the end of the rotation. However, they probably won’t be going that deep.

The Braves have not been playing well; at 35-28, they are nine games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East lead. Though the division may be losing ground, Atlanta is presently leading the National League and has a healthy lead in the top Wild Card berth.

The Braves had lost eight of their previous 13 games following their May 26 loss to Acuna. Additionally, since they were 26-13 on May 14, they have only gone 9–15.
