A former Los Angeles Rams player selected for All-Pro honors is prepared to go to His Destination Else Where.

This week, veteran wide receiver Pharoh Cooper made his formal departure from the NFL known.

Cooper stated, “I’m officially retiring from the NFL. Farewell, football.” “I will always be eternally thankful and give God the honor for granting me the opportunity to fulfill my boyhood goal.

Cooper continued, “I am grateful for all of the love and support I have received throughout my career from my family, friends, and fans.” “Many thanks.”

Rams Waive WR Pharoh Cooper

In 2016, Cooper, who is still just 29 years old, was selected by the Rams in the fourth round (with selection No. 117 overall).

He continued to play with the Rams as a return specialist and receiver, being selected to the All-Pro team in the latter role in 2017. After the 2018 season, Cooper was cut by the Rams, and he then played for the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Giants.

After spending five games with Arizona in the 2022 season, the former standout player from the University of South Carolina has not been with an NFL franchise.

He is now officially ending his career, making history as the most recent former Rams All-Pro to do so in the offseason.
