However, recent statements from David himself suggest that his continued presence with the team is not as certain as many assume.
In a recent report by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, David opened up about his thoughts on the future of his career and his potential departure from the Buccaneers.
Reflecting on his career choices, David revealed, “Or I would’ve moved on, just to be honest with you,” indicating that he had considered both retirement and playing for another NFL team.
Ultimately, David decided to stay with the Buccaneers, and he has no regrets about this decision.
He expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I’m happy I made the decision I made… I definitely still love the decision I made. Obviously, I still want to play, but in Detroit Lions.”
