Boston Bruins Is The Valuable Team That Take  Ahead 4 Team In Canada Colorado Competition.

The most valuable player in the NHL and the club that won the playoffs will represent Canada in the first-ever 4 Nations Face-Off.

Along with Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, Colorado defenseman Cale Makar, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, and Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point, the six players were revealed by Hockey Canada on Friday.

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon and Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid were also among the players.

On Thursday night, MacKinnon received his first-ever NHL Hart Trophy, concluding a season in which he scored 140 points (51 goals, 89 assists).

The Oilers proceeded to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final before falling 2-1 to Florida in the decisive game, and McDavid—a finalist for the Hart Trophy—was named the MVP of the postseason. He finished with 42 points (eight goals, 34 assists) in 25 games.

With Canada, Crosby hopes to cap off an international career that has seen him win two gold medals at the Olympics.

In the 2010 Vancouver Olympic tournament final vs the United States, he scored the game-winning overtime goal.

Over the course of his five-season career, Makar has won the Norris, Conn Smythe, and Calder trophies.

He has also won gold with Canada in the Junior A Challenge and World Junior events.

During his international career, Marchand won gold in the World Cup of Hockey, the World Championship, and back-to-back world championships.

He has played with Boston for fifteen seasons, the most recent of which he completed as captain.

In addition to winning silver at the world championship, gold at the world junior championship, gold at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, and bronze at the U18 world championship, Point is a two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Lightning.

A subsequent announcement will be made on the remainder of Canada’s roster.

The 4 Nations Face-Off, which will be staged in Montreal and Boston from February 12–20 of next year, will include teams of NHL players from Canada, the United States, Finland, and Sweden.

Along with defenseman Quinn Hughes of the Vancouver Canucks, forward Matthew Tkachuk of the Stanley Cup-winning Florida Panthers, defenseman Adam Fox of the New York Rangers, and rearguard Charlie McAvoy of the Boston Bruins, center Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs was chosen to the United States squad.

Along with Florida defenseman Gustav Forsling, Tampa Bay defenseman Victor Hedman, Pittsburgh defenseman Erik Karlsson, Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg, and Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad, Sweden’s roster included winger William Nylander of the Leafs.

Alexander Barkov, the captain of Florida, Juuse Saros, the goaltender for Nashville, Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell, the defensemen for the Dallas Stars, and Mikko Rantanen of the Avalanche and Sebastian Aho of the Carolina Hurricanes are the forwards.
