Lindholm is slated to become a free agent on July 1st once his contract expires, and according to Pagnotta, the Bruins are very interested in him.

In his piece, Pagnotta noted that rumors about the Boston Bruins and their desire to sign center Elias Lindholm, a future unrestricted free agent, are spreading more and more.

The Bruins’ interest in Lindholm is not new; in fact, Boston attempted to trade him twice before Vancouver got him, and one more during his difficult time with the Canucks.

In 75 games between the Flames and Canucks the previous season, Lindholm scored 15 goals and added 29 assists for 44 points. He contributed 5 goals and 5 assists for a total of 10 points in 13 games throughout the playoffs.

According to DailyFaceoff.com, Lindholm is expected to sign a seven-year contract for $8 million each season.
