Angel Reese boasts that he challenged Indiana Fever hours ago with Chicago Sky Top Star Caitlin Clark.
After breaking a new record, Angel Reese got the upper hand over Caitlin Clark as the Chicago Sky defeated the Indiana Fever 88-87 on Sunday.
After Indiana defeated Chicago 91-83 on June 16, they will play again. Prior to it, on June 1st, the Fever defeated the Sky, 71-70, in the inaugural WNBA match between the collegiate rivals.
Both rookies had outstanding performances in Chicago, but Reese’s night was especially noteworthy as she became the first WNBA rookie since A’Ja Wilson to record a double-double of 25 points or more and 15 rebounds or more.
Conversely, Clark had a double-double consisting of 17 points, a franchise-high 13 assists, and six rebounds.
The former LSU standout led her side to victory with 25 points and 16 rebounds. To further contribute to the win, Reese achieved her ninth straight double-double.
