AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic discussed the future of French left-back Theo Hernandez, who is a £60 million target for Chelsea.

In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, Ibrahimovic mentioned his current focus on the European Championship and deferred discussions about his own future with Milan.

Chelsea is reportedly considering other options, anticipating difficulty in acquiring the 24-year-old this summer.

With two years left on his contract, Milan aims to extend his stay, viewing him as crucial for the team.

Bayern Munich is also interested, seeking a replacement for Alphonso Davies, who is being courted by Real Madrid.

Fabrizio Romano reported on X that Ibrahimovic confirmed Hernandez will remain with Milan, stating, “Theo will be our regular starter and Alex Jiménez will be his backup. We trust Jiménez, that’s why we signed him from Real Madrid.”
