GOOD DEAL Report: Detroit Tigers Reportedly Interest In Selecting Orioles, Dodgers Top Stars Player….

According to a recent report by MLB analyst Tom Verducci for Sports Illustrated, the Detroit Tigers’ pitcher, Tarik Skubal, has caught the attention of both the Baltimore Orioles and the Los Angeles Dodgers as the MLB trade deadline approaches.

The Orioles, who currently hold the second-best record in the American League, are just a half-game behind the Cleveland Guardians and a narrow lead ahead of the New York Yankees in the AL East.

Their potent offense, combined with Corbin Burnes anchoring their pitching rotation, has positioned them as strong contenders for a World Series run.

Last season, despite an impressive 101-win campaign, they fell short in the Divisional Series. The addition of a player like Skubal could provide the boost they need to advance further in the playoffs.

On the other hand, the Dodgers recently had a firsthand look at Skubal’s capabilities. In a recent outing, Skubal delivered a strong performance by striking out eight batters over six innings, allowing only two runs and three base runners. This performance has undoubtedly piqued the Dodgers’ interest.

The Dodgers currently enjoy a commanding seven-game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres in the NL West.

With their place in the playoffs virtually secured, they are likely focusing on bolstering their rotation for a deep postseason run. The team’s lineup, featuring stars like Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, and Freddie Freeman, reflects their commitment to a championship pursuit.

Both teams see potential in Skubal to enhance their chances in the postseason. The Orioles are looking to build on their impressive season and overcome last year’s playoff disappointment, while the Dodgers are aiming to strengthen their already formidable roster.

As the trade deadline looms, Skubal’s future appears to be a key factor for both franchises as they seek to optimize their chances for a successful playoff run.
