A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering and a minor in supply chain management, Sparks will support team travel, daily operations, and data analytics.
Pearl emphasized the increasing complexity of managing a Power 5 men’s basketball program, noting the extensive administrative skills required for various aspects like philanthropy, community service, and recruiting. He praised Sparks’ character and talent, stating his preference for promoting from within after her three years as a student manager.
In her new role, Sparks will balance her responsibilities with the basketball team and assist in the athletics administration office under Executive Deputy Athletics Director Rich McGlynn and Assistant Athletics Director Casey Page.
During her time as a student manager, Sparks contributed to two SEC Championship victories in 2022 and 2024. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from the Harbert College of Business.
Originally from Sharpsburg, Georgia, she is the daughter of Matt and Tonya Sparks and has two sisters, Stella and Lola.
