Before traveling to Washington D.C. for their final exhibition game, the Bruins made three significant roster changes. The team announced that goalie Michael DiPietro, forward Vinni Lettieri, and defenseman Jordan Oesterle have been placed on waivers with the intention of assigning them to the Providence Bruins, their AHL affiliate. Should they clear waivers, they are expected to join the AHL camp on Saturday.

Jordan Oesterle, at 32 years old, brings a wealth of experience with 371 career NHL games to his name. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he will provide valuable depth to the Bruins’ defensive lineup.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Vinni Lettieri is returning to the Bruins for a second time. With 129 NHL games under his belt, he is also expected to contribute as a depth forward.
