Former Championship star, Sam Parkin, said that Sheffield Wednesday team is ready to meet the potential in this season but pointed at the fact that Danny Rohl’s beginners have not affected the league yet.
Sheffield Wednesday was ranked 18th in the championship under Rohls stewardship but recently beat derby county to move to 12th in the championship. Despite this, Parkin is confident his team will be able to capture a position within the top half of the table but, unlike other clubs, rookies do not play a big role in this team – most of the players are experienced, and new talents were signed during the summer.
Although Sheffield Wednesday is set to meet Preston North End who are now managed by Paul Heckingbottom, the former called for his team to keep on with their winning manners in an effort to scale up the ladder in the leagues.
