Clemson University has bolstered its future offensive line by securing a commitment from Grant Wise, a highly regarded interior offensive lineman from Pace High School in Milton, Florida. Wise, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 310 pounds, is rated as a four-star recruit by several major recruiting services.

Wise announced his commitment to the Tigers after attending Clemson’s Elite Retreat over the weekend. He chose Clemson over other prominent programs, including Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, and Miami.

During his junior season, Wise played a pivotal role in Pace High School’s rushing attack, contributing to a total of 2,759 rushing yards and an average of 6.9 yards per carry.

Wise’s commitment marks the ninth addition to Clemson’s 2026 recruiting class, which now includes three offensive linemen. He joins fellow four-star recruits Adam Guthrie from Miami Trace High School in Ohio and Braden Wilmes.

Following his visit to Clemson’s Elite Retreat, Grant Wise publicly announced his commitment to the Tigers on social media, expressing his enthusiasm by stating, “Made the best decision of my life last night, I’m ALL IN with the Clemson Tigers‼️” He also shared a video capturing the moment he informed head coach Dabo Swinney and offensive line coach Matt Luke of his decision. In the video, Wise handed Swinney an “All In” chip, symbolizing his commitment to the program.

This commitment adds to Clemson’s recent recruiting successes, with multiple high-profile commitments bolstering the team’s future prospects.

Wise’s decision to join Clemson over other top programs highlights the Tigers’ strong recruiting efforts and the appeal of their football program.
