This Friday at 3pm, Stoke City will play Sheffield Wednesday, and they are expected to draw the largest crowd since their Premier League relegation.
The number of tickets available is now in the hundreds as supporters try to help Mark Robins take a huge step towards Championship safety. Adult and child tickets have been lowered to £10 and £5, respectively, in an effort to fill the home stands as full as possible.
After returning from their trip to Cardiff last Saturday with three points, Stoke is now five points above the relegation zone with four games left. They also have a healthy goal differential when compared to second-bottom Luton and third-bottom Cardiff.
It is estimated that over 28,000 tickets have already been sold for this penultimate home game. Sheffield United, who are vying for promotion, will play the following Friday at 8 p.m. at the bet365 Stadium. Stoke will also travel to Derby County on Saturday, May 3, and Leeds United on Monday, April 21 in an attempt to finish the season on a high note.
