Due to absences from practice, two Miami Dolphins stars are doubtful for the Patriots game in Week 8.

The Miami Dolphins (5-2) are hurting after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night in a number of ways.

Raheem Mostert, a running back, and star wide receiver Tyreek Hill both missed practice on Wednesday due to injuries. Going up against the division foe New England Patriots on Sunday is now doubtful for both.

Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle responded, “That’s above my pay grade,” when asked if he thinks Hill will miss Sunday’s game against New England. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, meanwhile, hinted that it’s a genuine possibility.

This is clearly a big deal for the Dolphins, who are now in first position.

After seven weeks, Mostert leads the league with 11 touchdowns and 625 total yards gained. With Miami’s star running back De’Von Achane presently on injured reserve, he has assumed most of the touches.
