Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey named to the NFL Top 100

The Dolphins released veteran cornerback Parry Nickerson in conjunction with their announcement that they will activate Ramsey for Sunday, according the team’s official press statement.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who has been following the story from the start, Ramsey will formally make his regular season debut in 2023 against the Patriots.

In a trade with the Los Angeles Rams back in March, Miami acquired 29-year-old Ramsey. The Dolphins sent tight end Hunter Long and a 2023 third-round choice (77-Overall) for Ramsey in exchange for the cornerback. The six-time Pro Bowl pick finished his career with 452 total tackles, two sacks, 92 passes defensed, and 19 interceptions. He is still regarded as one of the league’s most dangerous corners.
