PALO ALABASTERY — The Celtics would have to be resourceful with their rotations after Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis were downgraded to out just before Wednesday’s game against the 76ers. Both players are essential to the C’s offense and defense as well as to much of their playmaking.

But the Celtics just made the necessary adjustments, having always taken pride in their depth. In the starting lineup, Al Horford—who had a fantastic game on Wednesday—and Sam Hauser—who has been shooting incredibly well from three points—arrive. In addition to his excellent shooting, Hauser has helped the Celtics, earning his starting position.

In addition to these modifications, the Celtics made extensive use of their bench. For this reason, Joe Mazzulla, the coach of the C’s, started Dalano Banton, Luke Kornet, Svi Mykhailiuk, and Payton Pritchard off the bench. In the first quarter, the backup group had an instant impression, giving the C’s points and a boost of energy during

their 117-107 victory over the Sixers on Wednesday.

“What they do on a daily basis,” Mazzulla remarked. That is all. Because of our assistant coaches’ guidance and consistency, I thought we played without missing a beat tonight. The idea is to keep moving forward in circumstances like these, and I believed those individuals were prepared to perform.

After the first 12 minutes on Wednesday, the Celtics controlled the first quarter, leading 37–22. One important component of the equation was the depth players. Mykhailiuk made a put-back basket and an early 3-pointer. Even though Banton missed shots, he had a contagious energy level and stole a fast-break bucket from Joel Embiid on the opposite end.

Even though the C’s battled once more in the second quarter, Mazzulla clearly had faith in his bench players on Wednesday. Although they weren’t flawless, the bench was just what the struggling squad needed to go 9-2 for the year. Horford and Derrick White were very impressive in the second half, and the starters took it from there. Without a doubt, though, the C’s bench players were crucial on Wednesday.

When it comes to the bench, Mazzulla stated, “They’ve just been very mature about it.” “They show up for work each day. One thing about those men is that they’ve all played in the NBA. Such as Lamar Stevens, Oshae Brisett, Svi (Neemias Queta), Dalano, and others who have all participated in NBA games. Therefore, it’s not like they’re not skilled gamers. Having
