Following his first start for the Rossoneri, AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah praised both the club’s players and the fans.
After the game, the American midfielder told Milan TV (via Milan News) that he was warmly greeted by the Milan players after arriving from Valencia late in the 2023 summer transfer window.
“It’s a good group; they welcomed me warmly from the start.” There are some extremely good and down-to-earth athletes who helped me a lot,” Musah explained.
Musah had only appeared from the bench this season, but he was given a start on the right wing against Verona on Saturday after Stefano Pioli shifted to a 3-4-3 system. His athleticism as he ran the line for virtually the whole game amazed fans.
“Every game, we look for three points,” Musah remarked of the game. It was a good three points, but every point has to be earned. “I am content.”
Musah also spoke to DAZN after the game (via Milan News), and he decided to focus on the supporters inside the stadium.
“It doesn’t change for me; I can feel the fans even from the bench.” They are beneficial.
