Two of AC Milan’s most important players trained fully with the rest of the group at Milanello on Monday ahead of the match against Cagliari, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan now stand a very good chance of being involved against Cagliari on Wednesday night.
Both players were absent against Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon due to injury and there were fears that they would also not be involved in the trip to Sardinia.
This does not necessarily mean that they will be in a position to start the game, but it is certainly promising news and suggests that they will certainly be fit to face Lazio at the weekend.
The bad news is that Davide Calabria is not as far as long as Hernandez and Maignan. He underwent personalised training on Monday so may still be absent against Cagliari on Wednesday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), the 17-year-old defender will soon sign a more serious deal.
He impressed throughout preseason, prompting Stefano Pioli to consider him as one of the team’s defensive possibilities for the upcoming season.
That came true on Saturday against Verona, when he came off the bench for his first competitive Milan debut. This will be a long-term contract that will allow Bartesaghi to develop his game and become a regular in the first squad.
The agreement has apparently been struck in principle with the player and his entourage, and there is no indication that there will be any snags, implying that the agreement could be announced soon.
