Lewis selected UK over his two other choices, Duke and UConn, and he made his announcement at the Trinidad Recreation Centre in Washington, D.C. Lewis has committed to the UK’s 2025 class, joining two Kentuckians, centre Malachi Moreno and guard Jasper Johnson.
Each of the four main recruiting databases—Rivals, 247Sports, On3, and ESPN—rated Lewis as a four-star talent in the 2025 cycle. Lewis is ranked No. 5 among point guards and No. 36 overall in 2025, according to the 247Sports Composite.
