‘Exciting news’ for Brighton as player joins first-team training – ‘Getting closer’ to a return from injury
According to Meczyki, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder is getting closer to returning to the pitch after a lengthy absence.pl.
The midfielder’s last appearance came against Norwich City in April 2022, when he suffered a catastrophic knee injury that required surgery. He experienced problems throughout his rehabilitation, necessitating a second procedure.
Moder had been working on his own, and it’s been revealed that the 24-year-old’s situation has improved, which is good news for both Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls.
According to Meczyki.pl, the 24-year-old is now ‘training at full speed’ with the first squad, which is ‘excellent news’ for Brighton, given that the Poland international’s return now looks’more probable’ following prior setbacks.
The site claims Moder’s return is “getting closer,” but does not specify when he would be ready.
Brighton have a busy calendar following this month’s international break, and Moder’s recuperation will no doubt excite them, but they’ll know they need to take things cautiously.
